The Watermark command allows you to create a new watermark to be printed behind the image.
-
Click File > New > Organization / Support Items > Watermark in the Desktop Client to open the New Watermark dialog box.
-
Type a name for the watermark, and optionally, a description.
-
Enter the watermark text, type, position, and font name, size, and style.
The watermark text can be configured to use properties from the object or a related object. The watermark text strings need to have an ampersand (&) around each string to be parsed. For example, &Obj.Name&, &Obj->Rel.Name&, and so forth. If not, a blank/empty string is returned. To include the current date and time, use the following syntax: &env.currentdate& or &env.currenttime&.
-
Click Finish to create the watermark.
-
Options followed by an asterisk (*) are required to create the selected object.
-
Watermarks are visible only when printed.
