  1. In Setup > Define Criteria and Prompts page, click the property for which you want to add criteria or set a prompt.

  2. Select one of the following Join Operator options to join multiple criteria for a single chart report.

    • Use And if you want all the criteria to match before including the item in the report.

    • Use Or if you want only a single criterion to match before including the item in the report.

    • You cannot mix And and Or when defining multiple criteria for a single chart report.

  3. Click Add Criteria .

  4. In the Criteria Definition page, type the criteria to add to the property in the Add new criterion field.

  5. Click Add .

  6. Select the condition to add to the criteria from the Condition list.

The conditions vary depending on the criteria selected, so a good working knowledge of the properties in the system, and what the user wants to display, is needed as a prerequisite for adding the correct criteria.

  7. Click Finish to add the property condition and criteria to the criteria list.

SHARED Tip Repeat this action to add further criteria and conditions for the property.

  8. Click Next to close the Criteria Definition page.

  9. In Define Criteria and Prompts page, click Prompt check box against a property so a check mark appears. You are prompted to select a value each time the graphic report runs.

When a prompt is set, a user can display different data without having to create another chart report. For example, you can choose to display all pumps with a flow rate condition set to Less than 10 meters a second, or to display all pumps with a flow rate condition set to Equal to or greater than 10 meters a second.

  10. Click Next.

You can use environment variables to filter the information for the current user, user organization, and so on. For more information on environment variables, see Environment variable support.
