To delete published tags from the system, you must delete the tags in the authoring domain and then republish a new snapshot of the associated document from which the tags have been deleted.
-
Click Find > MTR > Authored Register Documents, and search for the document associated with the authored tags that you deleted.
-
Right-click the authored document, and click MTR > Create Snapshot to create a new snapshot of the document. For more information, see Create a snapshot of an authored document.
-
Right-click the authored document, and click MTR > Publish. The publish process generates delete instructions for deleted tags, and deletes the tags permanently from the publish and CDW domains. For more information on publishing the document, see Publish tags.
-
To delete tags with the tag status assigned from the MTRPublishing domain, click Query > MTR > Registry tags.
-
Select the Based on tag details option in the Query For Registry Tags dialog box.
By default, the Number option includes the asterisk (*), which will return all the tags in the CDW domain.
-
Select the status and provide the required information to search for the registry tags.
-
Select the registry tag or tags, right-click, and click Delete.
