Progress Items (that is, deliverables) are objects that realize the ISPFPrgProgressItem interface and either the ISPFPrgDesignItem or ISPFPrgActivity interface. Only progress items can be registered for progress.
When a progress item is registered for progress, the optionally implied ISPFPrgRegisteredItem interface is instantiated and a relationship between the progress item and the workpack is created (between the ISPFPrgRegisteredItem and ISPFPrgWorkpack interfaces). For each workpack step of the target workpack, an object with class definition SPFPrgItemStep is created. Relationships between these item step objects to workpack steps and to the progress item are created.
Two types of deliverables are implemented:

Design deliverables - the individual deliverables are tracked.

Activity deliverables - sets of deliverables are tracked together.
