Create SPO/E Core objects using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets - SmartPlant Foundation - IM Update 48 - Help - Hexagon

You can create various SPO/E Core objects such as documents, dossiers, tags, and so on by modifying spreadsheets available on Smart Community. For more information, see Find sample data on Smart Community.

To create SPO/E Core objects using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, you must follow these steps:

1. Create objects by manually modifying the relevant spreadsheets available on Smart Community.

2. Use the SPO SANTA utility to regenerate the load files (.xmldrs) from the modified spreadsheets.

3. Load the regenerated load files (.xmldrs) using the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client Loader.
