SmartPlant Foundation can use information published on P&IDs to create line lists, line list records, pipelines and line list documents. Once created, these line list documents can be published from SmartPlant Foundation. The topics that follow describe how line lists are integrated with Smart P&ID out-of-the-box.
During retrieve, the Line List Adapter, which processes the data published by Smart P&ID for use in Line Lists, converts only piping connectors (PIDPipingConnector) and process points (PIDProcessPoint) to line segment objects (SPFLLALineSegment).
Currently, connect to process lines are not supported by the Line List Adapter and cannot be retrieved. Only primary and secondary PID connector types can be retrieved into SmartPlant Foundation.
