When the Mergeable Items Summary or Merge Structure Summary Validation Report dialog boxes open, the items to be merged are listed under the following tabs:

  • Object Summary – lists the name of the class definitions to be merged and a link on the quantity to the details.

  • Relationship Summary – lists the name of the relationship definitions to be merged and a link on the quantity to the details.

  • Terminated Object Summary – lists the name of the terminated class definitions and a link on the quantity to the details. The status shows that the items were terminated at this configuration.

  • Terminated Relationship Summary – lists the name of terminated relationship definitions and a link on the quantity to the details.

  • Deleted Object Summary – lists the name of the terminated object class definitions and a link on the quantity to the details. The status shows that the items were terminated at this configuration.

  • Deleted Relationship Summary – lists the name of the deleted relationship definitions and a link on the quantity to the details.

You can click an object quantity link displayed in the Quantity column header to view all the items claimed to the configuration in separate tabs in a new pane.

For example, in the previous image if you click the DEV(Tag) list quantity number of 3630, the pane displays all the tags to be merged under two tabs:

  • Tag(DEV) – Claimed - Lists the tags claimed from the higher configuration.

  • Tag(DEV) – New, - Lists the tags created in the current lower configuration.

You can click an item to expand the property values, view any changes or alterations to the lower configuration values compared to the higher configuration values, or any changes in the values as claimed.

For example, the following image shows the expansion of the MP-103 tag to view the properties.

You can export the mergeable items or merge structure information to Microsoft Excel, so you can save the report for your records, see Exporting the report to Excel.

For more information on configuring the mergeable items summary, see Mergeable items summary.
