Determining the review and return dates for a deliverable

When you create an activity, you give it a document type which determines which set of review and return periods will be used.

When the document is registered, the system works out the workpack based on the hierarchy values (contract, unit and area). When it knows the workpack, it can find the steps. The system then retrieves the status code for each step.

Then, when the system is on a given step, it finds the review and return periods with matching status codes and adds them to get the duration for the step.

The final step duration is the review period and the return period for the step, except for the first step where it will only be the review period.
