When you install SmartPlant Foundation and create a new site using the delivered seed database, a default plant by the name Plant A is created. When you install and configure SPO/E Core on top of SmartPlant Foundation, it configures Plant A, based on the delivered information available in the SPO/E Core load files. You may choose to use the default plant, or you may implement a new plant based on your specific requirements.
To implement a new plant, you must do the following:
-
Create the new plant.
-
Manually modify the required .xlsm files associated with the various work processes.
-
Use SANTA to regenerate the load files (.xmlldr) from the modified .xlsm files.
-
Load the regenerated .xmlldr files.
You must have administrator privileges to perform this procedure.
