In activity progress, each step except the first one has a return status code (or status code). A step's status will move from pending or overdue to complete when the activity deliverable (or document) has met the set status code. It can also move back to pending or overdue if the document's status code changes or if a document is added to the workpack.
The following color codes represent the step statuses. Click Show color keys to display the color keys on the UpdateProgress dialog box.
For cells that display dates, the colors are as follows. These are the cell colors.
Dark Green |
The date that was entered is before the start date of the plan detail. |
|
Red |
The date that was entered is after the end date of the plan detail. |
For the Step name cells, the colors represent the status of each step, and are as follows. These are the header colors.
Red |
The step has not been completed yet, and the plan date is past the step's due date. |
|
Beige |
The step has not reached the pending stage. For example, if the value of the Pending Days option has been set to five days, the step will be Not due if the current date is more than five days away from when this step needs to be completed. The Pending Days value is set on the Progress Options dialog. |
|
Yellow |
The calendar date is within the pending days value. For example, if Pending Days is five, then the current calendar date is five or fewer days away from when the step needs to be completed. The Pending Days value is set on the Progress Options dialog. |
|
Light Green |
The step has been completed. |
