This permits the viewing of inconsistencies in data of objects that are shared between tools. There are several ways of viewing inconsistencies.
Compare published instruments

Click Find > Published Data > Instruments.

Right-click the object of interest, and click View Shared Instrument.
Viewing inconsistencies via a report

Run a report for example, TEF Instrument.
Select Display latest values only to display only the most recently published values for the shared object. The report
highlights values that are inconsistent with values published from other tools.

Right click an object with an inconsistency, and click View Shared Instrument (or equipment, and so on).

If the shared object has properties in a different UOM in another tool (that is, metric and imperial), SmartPlant Foundation converts the imperial measurement to the SI unit before doing the comparison.

If any of the documents being compared is very large (for example, if it contains more than 100,000 objects), you may get more than one inconsistency report as your results. All reports created by the comparison are attached to the notification sent when the compare is complete.
