This is where related objects have to be automatically claimed. It is usually associated with the situation where one object is made up of a set of related objects that also need to be copied or deleted when the main object is copied or deleted.
For example, Parent / child tag: DEVTagTag.
Use cases
-
When child tags are added or removed, this is effectively updating the parent tag.
-
When the parent tag is deleted, the child tags should also be deleted.
-
When the parent tag is copied, the child tags need to be copied but not the other way around.
-
The child tags need to be claimed when the parent tag is claimed into a lower configuration.
Relationship configuration
The parent tag owns the relationship - Owner12=True.
Delete the children when the parent is deleted - Delete12=True.
Copy the children when the parent is copied - Copy12="Copy object at the other end".
Automatically claim the child tags when the parent is claimed - Claim12=ReqdObj.
