In some cases, extracted content may appear as multiple strings of data needing to be concatenated together. For example, if you want to combine the actual drawing number and the revision number, you would need to use the concatenate rule to join the two strings together.
To configure the Concatenate rule, you must complete the following steps:

In the Configuring Rule for Template window, select the property to be used to store the extracted value from the Related Attribute list.

Click Add Item
to add a row to the Rules to Concatenate table. You can define the following details in the Rules to Concatenate table:

Rule Name - Select a rule name from the list.
You can only select the RelatedText and ExtractDataFromText rules from the Rule Name list.

Separator - Type a character which will be used as a separator within characters or words.
You must add at least two items to the Rules to Concatenate table to use the concatenate rule type.

Select the check boxes to do the following:

Mandatory Field - Select this check box if this is a mandatory value.

Output Data - Select this check box to display data in the output.

Remove Spaces - Select this check box to remove the spaces from the extracted text.
