Problem

The user is prompted for credentials when publishing work packages in SPO/E Core even though Windows authentication is enabled.

Solution

Modify the security settings in Internet Explorer using the following steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer from the Start menu and, click the Tools icon.

2. Click Internet options.

3. On the Security tab, click Custom level.

4. In the User Authentication section, under Logon, select Automatic logon with current user name and password.

5. Click OK.
