This command is used by an administration user to review and modify any of the subscriptions to a class (across users) and manage all subscriptions for all users and roles. It is also available on the shortcut menu on a class definition.

  1. Click Administration > Subscription > Manage Class Notification Subscriptions across Users in the Desktop Client.

  2. Use the Subscription Filter Options dialog box to filter the results, if necessary, or just click OK to return all results.

    Option

    Description

    Class definition

List of class definitions that have realized this interface.

    InterfaceDef

    Interface definition to filter by.

    Event

Return all subscriptions trigged by the specified event.

    Creation user

Return all subscriptions created by the specified user.

    Recipient user

Return all subscriptions the specified user will receive.

    Recipient role

Return all subscriptions the specified role will receive.

    Creation Date

Return all subscriptions created on, before, after or between specified dates.

Click in this box to display the Set Time and Date form.

  3. Select the required options and click OK. The Class Notification Subscriptions for All Users form is displayed with any subscriptions found listed at the bottom of the form.

SHARED Tip Leave the filter form fields blank to return all subscriptions for the object.

    • If the selected class definition has no existing subscriptions, then there will be no entries for it in the list, and no new subscriptions can be added to it on this form. Subscriptions for the required class must be managed individually first.

    • In administration mode, the class column may also provide access to interfaces as well as classes. This is now available to users.

  4. Select an existing notification from the list. The Class definition box and Event list are populated.

You can now manage the subscriptions. See Manage class subscriptions for the current user for details on using this form.

The subscription is created for the primary interface of the selected class definition. It is possible to select a different interface than the class definition's primary interface for the subscription when using the Manage Notification Subscriptions shortcut menu command on the class definition. This is not available in Manage Class Notification Subscriptions Across Users mode.
