You can select attributes, of any of the item types listed in the To Do List, from the item type database and add them to the To Do List. You can then display in the To Do List both the value of a task property and the value stored in the database, as a comparison for example. For example; if the To Do List has an update task for the attribute Instrument Location, you can from the View Actions tab > Tree View add the Instrument Location attribute to the view. The newly added column would be called Current Instrument Location to reflect that the values displayed in the column are the current values in the database, while the Instrument Location task property displays the new value, after the task is run.
The View Actions tab only works with the Document Type tabs that are in Flat view mode. The View Actions tab does not work with the Document List or Inactive Tasks views.

In the Actions View tab > Tree View locate the attribute you want to add to the To Do List view and do one of the following:

Double-click the attributes name.

Drag the attribute to the To Do List view.
As you drag the attribute to the To Do List a visual indicator is displayed showing the attribute and its position based on where you are dragging it.
