Open a Spec from the Specifications Module - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

On the Modules menu, select Specifications .

On the Actions menu, select Open Specification.

On the Open Specification dialog, from the Item type list select the type of the item whose spec you want to open.

If the item type is Instrument, from the Tag class list, select the appropriate tag class.

With the cursor in the Item number box, do the following:

1. Select Find to open the Find Items dialog.

2. Filter the grid for the properties that you want to find.

3. Select the required item from the retrieved list.

4. Select OK to accept your choice and return to the Open Specification dialog.

With the cursor in the Form number box, do the following:

1. Select Find to open the Select Specification Form dialog.

2. Select the required form and select OK.

On the Open Specification dialog, select OK to open the spec associated with the item that you selected.
