You use this dialog to determine which device panels and tag numbers to display in the data window of the Device Panels window.

You open this dialog by clicking Explorer Filter icon 16bit on the Device Panels window toolbar.

Filter for

These check boxes allow you to select which device panels will be included in the display.

Tags associated with a device panel (connected to a cable)

Includes all tag numbers associated with device panels that are connected to device cables.

Tags associated with a device panel (not connected to a cable)

Includes all tag numbers associated with device panels that are not connected to device cables.

Tags not associated with a device panel

Includes all the tag numbers that are not associated with device panels.

Panels not associated with a tag number (connected to a cable)

Includes all device panels connected to device cables but are not associated with any tag number.

Panels not associated with a tag number (not connected to a cable)

Includes all device panels not connected to device cables and not associated with any tag number.

Show telecom items only

Includes telecom device panels only.

EDE Filter

Allows you to select a predefined EDE filter that has a reference to a device panel. For the list of relevant filters, see Filters for Device Panel EDE Views.

Definition

Use the options in this data window to set the required filter condition.

Property

Allows you to select an appropriate tag number property according to which you want to filter the data window in the Device Panels window.

Operator

Allows you to select the required comparison operator to determine how the tag number property selected in the Column Name field will relate to the expression you enter in the Value field.

Value

Allows you to select or type the required value to determine how to specify the tag number property that you selected in the Column Name field. You can use wildcards such as % (percent) and _ (underscore) to set the value.

Logical

Allows you to select the required logical operator ( And or Or) to determine how the next filter expression will relate to the current one (if applicable).

Apply filter settings in all sessions

Saves the filter condition settings and apply this filter the next time you open the Device Panels window. Note that you can restore your last filter settings if you previously selected this check box.

Show data only for the lowest plant hierarchy item

Displays the data for the current <unit> only. Clear this check box to include the data for all the <units> in the current domain.
