This dialog allows you set the database folder path when creating or updating the ODBC text profile.
This dialog opens when you select TEXTFILE from the Installed Drivers list on the Set ODBC Profile dialog and then select Create.
This dialog does not open if you select the Default value check box on the Set ODBC Profile dialog.
Description
Allows you to type a short optional description.
Database Folder
Allows you to type the source database folder. It is sufficient to enter the drive letter only, for example, C:
Default Table Type
Allows you to select the field separator type from this list. If you select Character, type the character that will serve as the field delimiter in the data field below.
Delimiter Character
Allows you to type the character that will serve as the field delimiter. This is relevant only in case you selected Character from the Default Table Type list.
Column Names in First Line
Allows you to select this check box to turn the first lines of text into column names. If you do not select this check box, the default column names will be Field 1, Field 2, and so forth.
