This dialog displays the specifications included in the current Specification Binder package, with their statuses and item numbers. You use this dialog to determine the order of appearance of the tags in the Document Binder window and the print order of the specifications.

The item number of a tag must be unique in the list and all the numbers must be consecutive. For multi-tag specifications, the order is determined by the tag in the list with the lowest item number.

To open this dialog, select a Specification Binder package in the left pane of the Document Binder window, select the Specification Sheets folder, and select Actions > Tag Number Sequence.

Data Window

Select a column header to sort the specifications displayed in this data window in ascending order keyed to the column that you select. Select the header again to sort in descending order.

Tag Number

Displays the tag number of the item. If the item was deleted, this field is empty.

Status

Displays the status of the item. The options are:

Added

Added to the Specification Binder package and before a revision.

Deleted

Deleted from the Specification Binder package. Items with the Deleted status do not appear in the printout.

(Empty)

The item has undergone a revision after you added it to the Specification Binder package.

Sequence

Determines the sequence and the print order of the tag numbers in the Specification Binder package. You can manually edit sequence values for tag numbers that have status Added.

Set

Sets the tag number sequence sequence in the Specification Binder package according to tag number names. The default tag number sequence is according to order of assignment of instruments to the Specification Binder package. When you select Set, the software sorts the tag numbers alpha-numerically in ascending order, including tag numbers with the Deleted or empty status. If, in the Document Binder window, you assign another specification to the current Specification Binder package, you need to reopen the Tag Number Sequence dialog and select Set again to update the new sequence.
