You use this dialog to select required cables that are not device cables to generate a cable list report.
To open this dialog, select Reports > Plant Cable List > Non Device Cables.
Document and revision number
Allows you to generate a report based on an existing document number without the need to set new search parameters. To set a document number and a revision (if you require a revision), open a print preview for a report and then select Actions > Revisions. The software retains the document number values per report type.
Documents that do not have a Document number set do not appear on this list.
Search parameters
Use these options to select the device cables for which you want to generate the cable list report.
Cable
Allows you to type a cable name for which you want to generate a cable list report. You can use wildcards for the parts of the cable name that you do not know. Leave this field blank if you want to include the existing device cables in your list report.
Type
Allows you to select a cable type search parameter.
Manufacturer
Allows you to select a cable manufacturer search parameter if needed. This enables you to use the cable model parameter to narrow your search.
Model
Allows you to select a cable model search parameter if needed. This option is not available if you did not select a manufacturer search parameter.
Outer jacket color
Allows you to select a cable color search parameter.
Part number
Allows you to type a cable part number search parameter.
Pulling area
Allows you to select a pulling area.
Harness
Allows you to select a cable harness.
EDE filter
Allows you to select a predefined EDE filter.
Intrinsic
All
Allows you to select the cables regardless of whether they have intrinsic safety property.
Intrinsic
Allows you to select only the cables with the intrinsic safety property.
Non-intrinsic
Select only the cables without the intrinsic safety attribute.
(Selection range)
Use one of these options to set the selection range of the non-device cables.

Allows you to select cables from the current <plant>.
<Unit>
Allows you to select cables from the current <unit>.
