You use this dialog to categorize and modify line data in your <plant>. This dialog also enables you to access the Line Properties dialog, where you can create a new line. It also enables you to open the line process data sheet. Line data is a tag number attribute.
Line type
Select the line type from the list to filter the display of available lines in the
data window. To add another line type to this list, select 
to open the Line Type dialog.
Show all line types
Select this check box to display all the existing lines that belong to all line types.
Find line
Type the line number to highlight it in the data window.

The data window displays the existing lines and their properties: line number, P&ID number, stream name, pipe standard, pipe material, pipe spec, size, unit, schedule/PN (= pipe schedule), internal diameter, and wall thickness. To edit an existing line record, select the row and select Properties. To add a new line record, select New.
Properties
Opens the Line Properties dialog to allow you to edit the line data of the selected line.
New
Allows you to define new line data in the Line Properties dialog and add a new line to the data window.
Change Type
Allows you to change the line type of the highlighted line in the Change Type dialog.
