You use the Foundation FieldbusSegmentProperties dialog to create a new Foundation Fieldbus segment or edit the properties of an existing one.
Segment
Allows you to type or edit a unique name for the segment.
Segment-wide parameter profile
Allows you to select a segment-wide parameter profile. You can select 
to access the Segment-Wide Parameter Profiles dialog, where you display, edit or create a wide parameters profile.
Intrinsically safe
Sets this segment as intrinsically safe.
Note
Allows you to type a brief note as you require.
