Use this dialog to define custom unit of measure types or to modify the descriptions of custom unit of measure types.
Unit of Measure Type Code
Enter a unique two-character code for the unit of measure type. You cannot add a new unit of measure type with the same code as an existing unit of measure type. You cannot modify the code of a previously defined unit of measure type.
Unit of measure type description
Description of the unit of measure type. You can modify descriptions of custom unit of measure types. Maximum is 30 characters.
If you define a new unit of measure type, and you then select a different unit of measure type for the new unit of measure that you are defining, the new unit of measure type is not saved.
