Updating the To Do List display is useful when several users can access the To Do List, and you want to refresh the display with the latest information from the Smart Instrumentation database after another user has modified the item specified by the task.

On the To Do list toolbar, select Refresh

When an Update task is created in the To Do list, the application merges the old and new tasks, for
the same item, into one Update task. If the old task had the status Deferred, then the new task is also status Deferred.
