Importing codes from an external file does not overwrite existing code settings.

Select Codes > Import Codes.

On the Import Codes dialog, do one of the following:

Under File, type the full path and filename of the ASCII file from where you want to import the codes, if you know it.

Select Browse to navigate to the file.

Under Import data, select the code type you want to import: system codes, unit of measure codes, or both.
The code type that will be imported depends on whether the file you selected in step
2 in this procedure contains the code type that you select in the Import data section.

Select OK to import the selected codes.
