Assign an Instrument Specification to a Specification Binder Package - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

1. In a Specification Binder package, select the Specification Sheets folder.

2. Select Actions > Assign Specification.

   The Find Items dialog opens, from which you can retrieve tags.

3. To filter the retrieved tags, enter values in the selection fields.

4. Select Find to retrieve the list of tags.

5. From the list, select tags to be included in the Specification Binder package and select OK.

   The list of tags appears under the Specification Sheets folder for the Specification Binder package.

6. To open a specification for viewing or editing, select a sheet from the list and select Actions > Open or double-click the sheet.

To view information in the right area of the window in greater detail, in File> Preferences dialog, expand the hierarchy Document Binder > Specification Binder and under Select specification list display, select User-defined columns from Browser module. When you display detailed data in the right area of the screen, the software determines the layout according to the default view in the Spec Binder Package Browser (under the Document Binder group). You can customize this view in the Browser module.
