Getting Started Common Tasks - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

The following general tasks are used when getting started:

Start Smart Instrumentation

This procedure explains how to log on to Smart Instrumentation, where to select the required domain and if the domain type is Owner operator, your project. After this, you navigate to the <unit> you are going to work in. Selecting OK on the Open dialog brings you to the Smart Instrumentation environment.

Open a Different Domain

This procedure shows you how you can move from working in the current domain to a different one.

Change the Logon Password

This procedure allows you to change the password that you use when logging on to Smart Instrumentation. Changing Smart Instrumentation logon passwords does not apply to users who log on to the software using Windows authentication logon method.

Switch to a Different Unit

This procedure makes it possible to switch from the current <unit> to another <unit>.

Open a Module

Use this procedure to open a specific Smart Instrumentation module. You can open any module whether or not other modules are already open. Access to a module is subject to your having appropriate access rights.
