The Signal Types dialog is the supporting table that holds signal type values that are used to define HART instrument properties. To fill this table, you need to retrieve DeltaV definitions. For details, see Retrieve DeltaV Definitions.
The data window contains the existing signal type definitions and their descriptions. To edit an existing signal type definition, select a row and then double-click in the field. To add a new signal type definition, select New.
Find a signal type
Allows you to find a record in the data window. Type the item you want to find and the software highlights the record in the data window.
