You use this window to connect a plug-and-socket box to a home-run cable or a telecom cable.
To open the Plug-and-Socket Box Connection window, right-click a plug-and-socket box in Domain Explorer and then on the shortcut menu, point to Actions and select Connection.
The Plug-and-Socket Box Connection window contains the following sections:
Panel
This list displays all the plug-and-socket boxes that you selected in the Domain Explorer. This way you can display another plug-and-socket box in the Plug-and-Socket Box Connection window without backtracking to the Wiring Module window if you want to select another plug-and-socket box in the Domain Explorer.
Data Window
The Plug-and-Socket Box Connection data window displays the available ports and the cables that are connected to them. You can also see if the current plug-and- socket box contains an internal terminator. The following symbols are used in the data window:
An unconnected port in the plug-and-socket box.
A home-run cable connected to one of the ports in the plug-and-socket box.
An internal terminator in the plug-and-socket box.
An external terminator added to a selected port.
You can do the following:

Drag a cable to one of the unconnected ports.

Highlight a connected home- run cable and then right-click it to do one of the following:

View the adjacent connections.

Generate a panel-strip report for the current the plug-and-socket box.

Disconnect the selected cable.

Associate a segment with the current home-run cable.

Select a port and then right-click it to do one of the following:

Add a new terminator to the selected port.

View the wire group, group level, and group sequence of the wires connected to the selected port.

Generate a panel strip connection report.

Select an external terminator and then right-click it to do one of the following:

Generate a panel-strip report for the current the plug-and-socket box.

Disconnect the selected terminator.

Associate a segment with the current external terminator.

Highlight a connected conventional cable and then right-click it to do one of the following:

View the adjacent connections.

Generate a panel-strip report for the current the plug-and-socket box.

Disconnect the selected cable.
