This section explains the basics of how an Owner Operator creates and exports an offline project.
-
In the Administration module Project Activities dialog, create a new project. For this example we will call it Project A.
-
Select Apply.
The Admin automatically creates the project schema.
-
In the Scope Definition dialog, scope the units you need in the project. In this example scope Crude unit 1.
-
In Smart Instrumentation claim your items to the project. For this example claim loop 101-f-102. Use which ever method you want,Claim or Copy to Claim Buffer. In our example we selected Claim.
-
Select target project.
-
In the Administration module Project Activities dialog, select Project A and select Export.
-
Select where you want to save the .ddti file (the exported project) and select OK.
The .ddti file name consists of the project name, time stamp, and suffix .ddti.
The Owner Operator can now start work on their assigned project items, for example Wiring.
-
Send the .ddti file to the EPC.
