The options in this dialog enable you to select one or more existing blocks and assign them to the instrument type selected in the Block - Instrument Type Assignment dialog.
Instrument type
Displays the selected instrument type to which you want to assign blocks. This value is read-only.
Block type
Displays all instrument block types and user- defined general block types you added
in the Drawing Block Types folder of the Domain Explorer, where instrument block types are shown as 
and user-defined block types are shown as 
.
Show blocks of all types
Displays in the data window all blocks belonging to all the block types available in the Block type list.
Find blocks
These options allow you to find a specific block in the data window.
Select a column heading
Select the required column heading from the list. This list contains the column headings that appear in the data window.
Type a value
According to your column heading selection, type a string that represents all or part of a value that appears in the data window column.
Data Window
Displays the blocks belonging to the selected block type, or all the blocks if you have selected the Show blocks of all types check box. Select the block that you want to assign to the specified instrument type.
View
Displays a graphic image of the selected block.
