Use the following to access all available commands in the I/O Assignment window.

PPM All Outputs Graphic View > Refresh

Refreshes the data in the Channel Assignment data window.

DCS Range icon 16bit View > Range

Shows the DCS range for a selected tag assigned to a channel.

Actions > New Control System Tag

Adds a new control system tag.

Delete Icon 16 Actions > Delete Control System Tag

Deletes a control system tag.

Associate Icon 16bit Actions > Couple Tags

Couples an instrument tag with a control system tag.

Disassociate Item icon 16bit Actions > Decouple Tags

Decouples an instrument tag and a control system tag.

Target Signal Assign icon 16bit Actions > Assign to a Channel

Assigns a tag (with or without a control system tag) to a channel.

Local Signal Unassign icon 16bit Actions > Unassign from a Channel

Cancels the assignment of the selected channel.

Explorer Filter icon 16bit Actions > Filter Tags

Opens the I/O Assignment Filter dialog to filter the tag number display.

Find icon 16bit Actions > Find Channels

Opens the Find Channels dialog where you can search the selected DCS and PLC cabinets for strips with channels.

Channel icon 16bit Actions > Channels

Opens the Channel Properties dialog where you can modify channel properties. Note that you can select multiple channels in the Assignment details pane of the I/O Assignment window.

Reports > Tag Assignment Report

Generates an I/O Tag Assignment report.

Point-to-Point icon 16bit Reports > Point to Point Wiring Diagram

Shows the point-to-point wiring diagram of all signal levels in a tag that you have selected in the Channel Assignment data window.

IO Assignment icon 16bit Actions > Display I/O Data

Opens the I/O Data dialog displays the input/out information for the terminal strips selected in the I/O Assignment window.

Properties icon 16bit Actions > Control System Tag Properties

Opens the Control System Tag Properties dialog where you can define or modify the CS tag name and description as well as view additional properties of the selected CS tag, define DCS range and alarm properties for the selected CS tag, set or update the CS tag pulse definitions, calibration scale, and define DCS control function block properties.
