This dialog enables you to associate any external file with a selected tag number. This external file can serve as an additional document for the selected tag number. The following document types can be associated to the selected tag number:

.bmp

.wav

.psr
or any file formats that are supported by your Windows system. You can open and modify the associated documents from Smart Instrumentation.
Global Path
Displays the global file path as set in the preferences of the software (read only).
Tag Number
Displays the selected tag number (read only)
The data window contains a list of all the external documents that are associated with the selected tag number.
Document
Displays the name of the associated documents (read only).
Description
Type here a description of the associated document, if required.
Location
Displays the full path to where the document is located (read only).
Associate
Opens the Associate External Document dialog that allows you to select a file that you want to associate with the selected tag number.
Dissociate
Dissociates the associated file from the tag number.
Open
Opens the associated document.
