This dialog enables you to manage the contents of the Manufacturers select list. Wiring equipment manufacturer is one of the properties used to define wiring equipment items, such as I/O cards, I/O terminations, fieldbus bricks, safety barriers, relays, amplifiers, and so forth.
To access this dialog, in the Wiring module, select Tables > Wiring Equipment > Manufacturers or select 
beside the Manufacturer select list on any Wiring Equipment Properties dialog.
Find wiring equipment manufacturer
Finds a record in the data window. Type the item you want to find and Smart Instrumentation selects the record in the data window below.
Data Window
Displays all the available wiring equipment manufacturers. Select a value that your want to edit, or select New to add a new data row.
Wiring Equipment Manufacturer
Allows you to type a manufacturer name, for example, Fisher, Honeywell, Rosemount, and so forth. The manufacturers that you enter here consequently become available in the Manufacturer list on the Wiring Equipment Properties dialog boxes.
Description
Allows you to type a brief manufacturer description if required.
