  1. Open the Link Properties dialog.

  2. On the General tab, under Undefined NOT NULL fields, do one of the following:

    • Select Use default value to sets any reference columns values in the target table to zero during the import process if these columns do not appear in the appropriate reference table.

      SHARED Tip Selecting the Use default value option overrides any selections you make in the Default column on the Target Table Definition dialog. To learn how to use the Target Table Definition dialog, see Target Table Definition.

    • Select Reject rows to set the Import Utility to reject all source rows that contain reference columns that do not appear in the appropriate reference table during the import process.
