Understanding the Merge Progress Notification information - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

As the merge action progresses, the following merge progress information is displayed in the Properties window.

• Expected number of merged objects

• Expected number of merged relationships

• Actual number of processed objects

• Actual number of processed relationships

• Number of failed objects

• Number of failed relationships

• Merge status

• Merge duration

• The Merge Progress Notification functionality is optional and available only if configured to by the administrator. For more information on configuring Merge Progress Notification, see Configuring the Merge Progress Notification feature.

• Any items that fail to merge successfully are directly related from a log file to the merge progress notification item for easy identification. For more information, see Reviewing items that failed to merge.

• The merge process runs asynchronously with Merge Progress Notification functionality enabled. As the merge progresses, you can continue to work on unrelated tasks in the Desktop Client, which is useful if you are merging large datasets.
