A user can attach a workflow to an object when it is created. However, that functionality is turned off by default. To turn on the functionality, you must set the workflow processing option on the create method of the object.

Query for the create method for the class (Find > Administration > Method).

Update the method (right-click on the method, and select Update).

Enter a value for Workflow processing option. Possible values are:
Name
Desktop Client
Web Client
None
No Workflow page appears in the wizard, and the object is not attached to a workflow.
No Workflow page appears in the wizard, and the object is not attached to a workflow.
Specific Workflow Name
No Workflow page appears in the wizard, and the object is attached to the named workflow.
No Workflow page appears in the wizard, and the object is attached to the named workflow.
Select
The Workflow page appears in the wizard, but the user does not have to select a workflow to attach to the object. It is optional.
