Data Validator allows the conversion of HxGN SDx objects, such as a plant, project, area, or discipline into a Data Validator job. This ensures that when a new system is being set up, the administrator can control the type of data entering the system and its integrity.
You can convert a HxGN SDx object into a Data Validator job using the Loader workflow. You must create a job details object in the Desktop Client. The job details object includes the classification type of the object being converted, and a relationship is created between the job details object and the selected classification type.
For any HxGN SDx object to be used to process data in CSV files, the IVTLJob, IVTLValidationJob, IVTLJobExportDetails,
IVTLJobImportDetails, and ISPFConfigurationItem optional interfaces must be added.
This schema is required to convert any type of HxGN SDx object, such as a plant or a project, to an Data Validator job.
The load job itself is created using the Web Client. The Loader workflow is specified as one of the arguments on the method used for creating the load job. Based on the classification type of the object, the related job details object, along with the associated job details item objects, are selected to process it in the job conversion step of the workflow. After the object is converted into a Data Validator job, the import, validate and export steps are executed automatically in Data Validator Job Management. You can monitor the load job in the Web Client.
