In the SmartPlant Report Administration module, you can define and assemble a report definition by navigating to objects, exposing their relationships to find additional properties, and building a report definition for your reporting purposes.
The Report Administration Wizard helps you create and modify report definitions used in reporting. It provides a user-friendly interface where these changes can be made. In order for a report definition to be managed with the Report Administration Wizard, the following conditions must be met:

Through your role assignment, you must have a relationship to at least one access group that has edit access to the report definition (or the view definition). This relationship can be created in the Desktop Client.

The graph definition and view definition that define the report must have the same name.

The container ID of the report definition (or view definition) must be blank or some container other than Core.EFSchema or SchemaComponent.SchemaComponent.
In the Maintain or Create Report Definitions dialog, you can view all the report definitions saved in the system to which you have edit access. You can create a new report definition or edit an existing report definition by expanding relationships to expose different properties and modify the report definition.

To search for an existing report definition, scroll through the list of report definitions, or type some portion of the name of the report definition in the Select a report definition to modify or view box, and click Search

At any point, you can return to the HxGN SDx Dashboard from a module by clicking Fdn > Home. You can also expand the sidebar menu by clicking Expand
. The sidebar menu displays all the application modules to which you have access.
You can click on any icon to close the SmartPlant Report Administration module and
open another.
