Canceling uninstallation leaves an entry in Programs and Features list - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

Problem

If you run the uninstallation for HxGN SDx and you choose to cancel the uninstall of the software before it has finished, the software is still listed in the Control Panel's Programs and Features window, and you are unable to uninstall the program.

Solution

You must manually remove the item from the Control Panel's Programs and Features window.

1. In the Programs and Features window, right-click HxGN SDx and click Change.

2. Select Add or Remove Features and click Next.

3. Select a feature (for example, the Desktop Client), and click Update.

4. In the Programs and Features window, right-click HxGN SDx and click Change.

5. Select Uninstall and click Next.

6. Click Finish when the software has been removed.

This issue may occur for any software when its installation wizard is canceled near the end of the process. If this occurs, the software can be removed using this same procedure.
