The Actions menu isn't available for items in a grid or count widget - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

Problem

When displaying a dashboard, the results shown in a grid or count widget do not have an Actions menu.

Common causes

• The dashboard is shown in a pop-up window.

• The widget is expanded.

• The widget is not returning the Name, Config, and Id columns.

• The widget is displaying results from an external system.

The object icons are also not displayed if the Name, Config, and Id columns are not returned, or if the results are from an external system.

Solutions

• If the dashboard is displayed in a pop-up window, ask your administrator to change it to a full page display.

• If the widget is expanded, return it to its original size.

• Ask your administrator to check the widget is returning the Name, Config, and Id columns. The Id column is not displayed by default, even when it is returned.

The Actions menu is applicable only to local systems.
