  1. Select a list from the Lists section, and click Edit. The edit wizard appears.

    The first page of the wizard contains the information about the method that controls the list. See Create a new list for detailed information about configuring this list and the values in the Method details section.

    • When you create a new list or copy a list, a new column set is created with the same name as the list. You can only change the column set to use for the list when you edit the list from the List Management Console. You can specify an existing column set to use for this list, or you can create a new one by entering a column set name.

    • If you use an existing column set for this list, be sure to select the Columnset has been enabled for list editing option on the column set. See Create a column set for more information about this option.

  2. Edit the information, as necessary.

  3. Click Next to proceed to the Manage Column Items for Edit page.

  4. Modify the column set or column items you want to see in the List Edit control, as necessary. See Manage column items for edit for more information.

    SHARED Tip You can also configure column items for your list in the Column Items section of the List Management Console. See Configure column items for a list.

  5. Click Next to proceed to the Manage Access Groups page.

    SHARED Tip You can also configure the access groups for the list by clicking Edit Access Groups on the List Management Console. See Edit access groups for a list.

  6. Modify the list of access groups that should have permission to create or edit this list, as necessary.

  7. Click Apply or Finish to save your changes.
