Intergraph SmartPlant Access Control Analysis is a richly featured reporting and administration application that can quickly and easily visualize and edit access control data that includes methods, client APIs, relationship definitions, and access groups. The access control data can then be used to tune the security and access configuration of the HxGN SDx system. For example:
-
You can find each object through the details exposed through related items using a dynamic query mechanism.
-
You can find a role that is related to one or more access groups and the access groups are related to one or more methods or relationship definitions.
-
You can easily identify all the capabilities that a given role or access group can provide to a user.
-
You can edit and review delivered access groups and their duplicates.
For more information on how the security model can be configured for a HxGN SDx system, see Security model overview.

The access data query results are returned in the main window displayed in columns in a tabular grid view. Further options are available where you can:

Refine the query results to reduce the data set to a more manageable, targeted set of data.
-
Open all of the results or select a single item as a paged query in the Desktop Client.
-
Display the access control details of a single item as a diagram, where you can visualize all of the relationships for the item as a diagrammatic representation.
