The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 33 and SmartPlant Markup Plus Server 2019 SP 1 or earlier. For the latest information, see File viewing problems.

Check the Brava! Enterprise log file:

  1. Log on to the SmartPlant Markup Plus server as an administrator.

  2. Open the brava-enterprise-service.txt file delivered to the [installation location]\IGC\Brava! Enterprise\Brava! Server\log folder.

If the following errors appear in the file, the IP address of the application server is not authorized:

2016-03-21T16:12:45,501-0500 [http-bio-8443-exec-11] ERROR com.igc.be.filters.IPMonitorFilter - The server setting for legal.ip.to.get.sessionid (111.136.*.*,222.53.*.*,333.168.*.*,444.64.*.*) does not match the IP of the machine requesting (555.135.150.123) the sessionid.

Do the following if using SmartPlant Markup Plus Version 2016 R1 (6.1) or earlier.

  1. Click Start > Administrative Tools > Services.

  2. Stop these services in the following order:

    1. Apache Tomcat

    2. Blazon Job Processor

    3. IGC Brava! Enterprise License Server

  3. Open the server.properties file delivered to the [installation location]\IGC\Brava! Enterprise\Brava! Server folder.

  4. Find the legal.ip.to.get.sessionid property. The IP addresses of the servers accessing the Brava! Enterprise Server must match those specified by this property. For a list of acceptable values, see the OpenText® Brava!® Enterprise Administration Guide delivered to [installation location]\SmartPlant\Markup\Brava! Enterprise.

  5. Save changes to the file.

  6. Start these services in the following order:

    1. IGC Brava! Enterprise License Server

    2. Blazon Job Processor

    3. Apache Tomcat
