The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 33 and SmartPlant Markup Plus Server 2019 SP 1 or earlier. For the latest information, see File viewing problems.

Problem

How can I detect missing fonts when viewing non-Hexagon CAD files in the Web Client?

Solution

If you are using SmartPlant Markup Plus 2019 SP 1 (10.0.1) or later, you must enable log collection via the heartbeat.txt file. For more information, see Enable log collection using heartbeat.txt files.

1. Log on to the SmartPlant Markup Plus server as an administrator.

2. Open the heartbeat.txt file created when viewing the non-Hexagon CAD file.

   How do I find the heartbeat.txt file?

   The heartbeat.txt file is written to the dlcache folder. To locate the dlcache folder:

   • Open the server.properties file delivered to the Brava! Server folder using a text editor like Notepad.

   • The dlcache folder location is set by the local.displaylist.cache.root property.

3. An error similar to the following is logged in the file:

   [03/23/20 20:01:21] [01_2101360-1002-10243H01.dwg] warning 0=Loader Warning 27 (Can't find support file): Can't find Plotstyle file: monochrome.ctb
   [03/23/20 20:01:21] [01_2101360-1002-10243H01.dwg] warning 1=Loader Warning 27 (Can't find support file): LOW_RES_FILLED.shx, substituting simplex.shx
