When should I submit a release note to the traffic coordinator?

You need to submit a release note after assigning all the item shipments to packages.

What happens when I submit a release note to the traffic coordinator?

When you submit a release note to the traffic coordinator, he or she can view the packages within the release note. The traffic coordinator can then either approve or reject the release note. If the release note is approved, you can start physical packing. However, if the release note is rejected you again need to submit the release note to the traffic coordinator after making the suggested changes.

  1. On the Packing tab, select the agreement number for which you want to submit a release note and click Release Notes.

  2. Select the release note that you want to submit.

  3. On the Details tab, enter the Ready Date and the Collection Point for the release note.

  4. Click Save.

    • Before you submit a release note, ensure that all the Item shipments in the release Note are assigned to packages and you have saved all the pending changes.

    • When the above conditions are met, the release note status shows Ready to Submit.

  5. After you submit a release note, you will not be able to make any changes to the packing data for that release note.

  6. Click Submit.

  7. Click Yes.
