This project default indicates whether the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) date of a Means Of Conveyance (MOC) is to be taken over to the Predicted On Site in basic expediting or not.

This project default is used by the basic traffic and affects the Predicted On Site date of item shipments in basic expediting only.

The Predicted On Site date is recalculated, if one destination is set to date type Traffic Arrival and another destination with a higher order sequence is set to type Arrival On Site on the Routing Methods page. The new value depends on the sum of the transit days between these two destinations as following:

  • Predicted On Site date = ATA date + sum of transit days.

  • If ATA date is not set, but ETA date is set, this date value is used.

  • If both ETA date and ATA date are not set, the Predicted On Site date is calculated as:

curr/rev prom ship + sum of all transit days of the routing method.
If curr/rev prom ship is not filled, prom ship date is used for calculating.

  • Module(s) affected by this setting: Expediting > Item Shipment Details, Traffic.

  • List of Values: NO (default), POP_ETA, and POP_MOC.

  • If set to NO, the ETA date of a MOC is not taken over to the item shipments assigned to it.

  • If set to POP_ETA, the ETA date of a MOC is populated to the Predicted On Site date of its associated item shipments.

  • If set to POP_MOC, several date values are copied to the associated item shipments:

    • ETD Date pred ship date.

    • ATA Date actual ship date.

    • ETA Date pred traffic arrival date.

    • ATA Date actual traffic arrival date.
