A warehouse is a place where raw materials and goods are stored. In Smart Materials, a warehouse does not necessarily relate to a physical material location. User must name a warehouse which is easy to identify. The available types of warehouses are listed below:

Types of Warehouses

Definition

Design Change Issue warehouse

Often, design change takes place in a project. Design change issue warehouse is used for design change issue projects.

Scrap warehouse

Materials that does not pass inspection at the site are kept at the scrap warehouse. Goods are retained due to quality and damage purposes.

Nested Plate warehouse

A few business processes require materials to be stored in the nested plate warehouse. It is used for steel plate handling.

Corporate warehouse

Corporate warehouse contains all the leftover materials and goods which are yet to be utilized. Materials from this warehouse are used for the future projects.

Free Issue Materials

The materials which are received under free issue materials contract are kept under free issue material warehouse. Materials are received from the EPC’s customer and made available for usage.

Rental warehouse

Rental warehouse is used for receiving the rental orders.
