Warehouse/Ident short Notify is used to alert users when the on-hand quantity falls short below the pre-defined minimum on-hand quantity.You can set up a shortage notification rule and the users are notified through automated E-mails, if there is a shortage.

On the Home Page, click Site > Site Utility > Warehouse/Ident Short Notify.

Click Add Row.

Type the name of the shortage notification in the Shortage Notification cell.

Type the minimum on-hand quantity in the Minimum On-Hand Quantity cell.

Select the pre-defined email template set in the E-mail Template cell.

Select the reminder for the shortage from the Interval cell. Available options are:

Daily
-
Every Fifteen Minutes
-
Hourly
-
weekly
-

To activate the record, select Yes in the Active cell. Otherwise, select No.
Only one notification can be active at a time.

Type the comments in the Comment cell and the descriptions in the Short Description and Description cell and Save.
